The 2017 Congress will address the global challenge of meeting the needs of the increasing number of people who could benefit from Assistive Technology. The congress will add to its usual breadth a focus on the translational research agenda. We are pleased to publish the first version of our Draft Programme for the AAATE2017 Congress week:
Join us on Tuesday 11th September 2017 when we will hold Satellite Events at St. Marys Conference Centre, the Octagon, and the Diamond Building. These sessions are workshop or lecture style with topics related to AT. In the late afternoon, the AAATE board invites to a talk on “Assistive Technology promise for happy and sustainable again: myth or reality? A global perspective”. From 7 pm we will hold the Conference Reception at the Sheffield Winter Gardens. More information on the Satellite Events.
Wednesday 13th to Thursday 14th September 2017 we have 6 packed parallel sessions in the areas of aging, home & living, education & learning, communication, innovation, robotics, e-health & apps, mobility, and accessibility. For the full program please have a look at the PDF. In the next few weeks, we will continuously update the timetable and publish details about these sessions online.
