The 2017 AAATE Congress is a 4-day event about Assistive Technologies and will take place from 12-15th September 2017. The main Conference will be from 13-14th September and Satellite Events are running on the other two days at venues in Sheffield (UK).
The 2017 Congress will address the global challenge of meeting the needs of the increasing number of people who could benefit from Assistive Technology. The Congress will add to its usual breadth a focus on the translational research agenda. The programme will include contributions on topical subjects such as dementia, care robotics, universal design, sport and disordered speech.
The Extended Programme for the Congress week with all event information can be found here.
13–14th Sept 2017
The Conference itself will be from Wednesday 13th to Thursday 14th September 2017 and held in the Diamond Building. This is the core part of the Congress focusing on formal contributions of any Assistive Technology related topic. (Please note that the call for papers for the Conference is now closed.)
12th and 15th Sept 2017
During the Congress week, we will hold Satellite Events in Sheffield that will offer access to topics related to Assistive Technologies in a less formal way. Events will include a Student Tournament and the T4I2017 Conference.
