Session Type: Lecture (sequence of presentations with questions and answers)

Session: Technology for Remote Care

For more than a decade innovations in remotely delivering assistive technology related services incorporating videoconferencing have been reported from across the world.  And yet there seems little synthesis of evidence for best or good practice, or descriptions of cost effectiveness.

Short or long papers are invited that address any of the following: summarising learning that informs best/ good practice or cost effectiveness; technical and/or service challenges; design and acceptability of services to users; and, systematic identification of scenarios where such services can work well, partially or not at all.
